JES Foundation Repair Takes Home Fantastic 50 Award from the Virginia Chamber of Commerce for the Fourth Time
Regional foundation and structural repair company attributes recent year-over-year revenue growth to web-based business software platform
Virginia Beach, Va. (May 8, 2015) – JES Foundation Repair, a leading regional engineering solutions firm specializing in the design and installation of residential and commercial foundation support systems, was recently named among 50 of Virginia’s fastest-growing companies for the fourth consecutive year. The Virginia Chamber of Commerce recognized JES during its 20th Annual Fantastic 50 Awards Banquet, which took place at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Va. on April 30. Over 400 guests were in attendance to honor the award recipients.
Privately-held companies headquartered in Virginia with sales between $200,000 and $100 million that demonstrated positive revenue growth were eligible for the Fantastic 50 award. Four-year sales revenue history was considered and entries were verified by public accounting firm Dixon Hughes Goodman.
“We are beyond excited to receive the Fantastic 50 award for the fourth year in a row. This award is a powerful reminder of where we’ve been and where we’re going,” said Jesse Waltz, P.E., owner and president of JES Foundation Repair. “We are gearing up to provide more homeowners and businesses with the structural and moisture control services they need to maintain their property. Our web-based platform, BizWiz, has played a major role in the growth we’ve seen over the last eight years.”
Used by over 100 companies throughout the U.S. and Canada, BizWiz©®, is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business management and workflow system that provides real-time data about marketing, sales, operations, accounting and production activities. Businesses can monitor cost per lead, average sale amount, company conversion rate and other key metrics at the push of a button. Waltz invented the software in response to his need for real-time information about JES while he was traveling.
In addition to nearly 30,000 homeowners, JES has served a range of commercial and municipal clients such as the Smithsonian National Postal Museum, the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the Science Museum of Virginia, Kingsmill Resort, the Omni Homestead Resort, Short Pump Town Center, George Washington University, Carter Plantation, Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, and the Southern Public Service Authority. Most recently, JES installed helical piles to support new foundations for a $200 million Trump International Hotel™ project in Washington, D.C.
JES has offices in Virginia Beach, Chester and Manassas that serve Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and northeastern North Carolina. The need for its services is growing as aging infrastructure and extreme weather events heighten public awareness of structural issues around the country. While JES continues to scale operations, its primary goal is to improve profitability so it can help more customers, create more jobs and contribute to the region’s economic vitality.
